Political affiliation declaration

If you do not pick a political party, you will be registered as: No Party in the United States. Politically the United States does not let you go unless you register with another Party. It does not say that the party must be within the United States. An independent voter, often also called an unaffiliated voter or non-affiliated voter in the United States, is a voter who does not align themselves with a political party. The only way out of being called a voter within the United States is to register with a Political Party outside the United States.
